After more than 180 years--Eliza Monroe Hay — daughter of President James Monroe — is finally returning home. Her remains were recently recovered and repatriated from Paris through the determined efforts of Kathryn Willis and others.

On October 23rd, Eliza will be reinterred alongside her family at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond. The event marks the powerful end to a years-long mission.
