The Virginia Military Survivors and Dependents Education Program (VMSDEP) is a program where the Commonwealth provides education benefits to spouses and children of qualifying Veterans. Senator Durant says a Senate plan to establish a working group to look at future funding has been changed by the House and was included in the new budget signed by Governor Youngkin. Durant says she expects the governor to get further involved.
