The Central Virginia Battlefields Trust is marking 30 years of preservation with its “60 for 30” campaign, an effort to raise $60,000 in recognition of three decades spent protecting historic battlefield land across the region. The fundraising supports CVBT’s overall mission and helps position the organization to act quickly when threatened land becomes available.
Separately, CVBT is also exploring opportunities this year to expand public access on some preserved properties, including the possible addition of walking trails and interpretive signage.
