(Richmond)- The Virginia House of Delegates approved legislation afternoon that would pave the way for the Wizards and Capitals to move to a new arena in Alexandria’s Potomac Yards neighborhood. The House approved the bill by a vote of 59-40. It now moves to the state Senate, where it faces an uncertain future. The bill, sponsored by Del. Luke Torian, D-Prince William County, must pass the Senate before going to Gov. Youngkin for his signature.
