Minimum Wage Bill Passes Virginia House

(Richmond)- A bill which would increase Virginia’s minimum wage twice over the course of the next two years has passed the Virginia House of Delegates. The bill would raise the current minimum wage in Virginia was passed by the House of Delegates by a vote of 51-49. The bill would increase the current minimum wage of $12/hour to $13.50/hour in 2025, and then to $15/hour in 2026. This bill now goes to the Senate.
