Earthquake Monday Night In Virginia

(Augusta County)- Virginia experienced an earthquake around 5 Monday night – the third report by the U.S. Geological Survey website in eight days. This earthquake was felt by residents of Stuarts Draft and Fishersville in Augusta County. Small earthquakes are uncommon in Virgina. The U-S Geological Survey says there have been about 100 earthquakes in the last 23 years.
Most register under 3.0 magnitude.
