Virginia Expecting Thousands of J-and-J Vaccine Doses

(Richmond)- Officials with the Virginia Department of Health are expecting to begin offering the Johnson-and-Johnson vaccine this week.  This comes after the latest vaccine was approved for emergency use by the FDA.  The state says it is expecting 69-thousand doses in the coming days which would be allocated to mass vaccination clinics across the Commonwealth.  The Johnson-and-Johnson vaccine is only one dose, compared to Moderna and Pfizer vaccines which require two doses.
