(Ashland)- A new 40-mile route through Central Virginia will be known as the Fall Line Trail. Governor Northam joined local officials for a groundbreaking ceremony in Ashland’s Carter Park yesterday. The recreational path is expected to run from Petersburg to Ashland but will take a few years to complete. Crews will work to connect trailways that already exist, like the Ashland Trolley Line trail.
