Fairfax County To Start Schools Online

(Fairfax)-  It looks like students will be learning online in Fairfax County.  That’s the plan sent down by Superintendent Scott Brabrand late yesterday evening.  His decision comes after previously allowing families to decide between a hybrid approach or all-virtual instruction.  Brabrand cites the recent surge in coronavirus cases and staff leave-of-absence requests are through the roof.  The virtual start is set to begin on September 8th and last for the first quarter, but he wants to bring students back into the classrooms as soon as possible.
