(Vienna)- Fairfax County Police say three county school employees are facing charges after assaulting six non-verbal special needs children at the Freedom Hill Elementary School. Two faculty members, 48-year-old Cylmeera Gastav of Herndon and 59-year-old Cecilia Benavides of Alexandria, were charged with felony cruelty and injuries to children in addition to misdemeanor assault and battery. Former school principal Scott Bloom of Reston is charged with failure to report the alleged abuse to Child Protective Services or the police.
