(Richmond)- The state is advising Virginians on what to do if their driver’s license has been suspended over unpaid court debt. A new amendment signed by Governor Northam this year will allow those licenses to be reinstated on July 1st. The DMV has already sent out over half-a-million letters to let affected drivers know what their requirements are. The reinstatement doesn’t mean the court debt will be wiped clean.
