(Richmond)- VCU will not have a university-wide commencement ceremony this spring. Yesterday VCU President Michael Rao announced that they weren’t able to secure a venue big enough. The Richmond Coliseum has hosted VCU spring commencements for 46 years, but they aren’t available and aren’t currently booking anything in 2019. VCU will still hold smaller commencement ceremonies by college, school or department.
