(Northern Virginia)- Men in Northern Virginia and DC are among those being targeted by a new type of extortion scam. The FBI says con artists are sending letters to men threatening to expose their secrets to their wives if they don’t send thousands of dollars in bitcoin. The FBI says anyone who has gotten one of these letters or fallen victim to the scam should report it to the Internet Crime Complaint Center.
