Juvenile Pleads Guilty To Terrorism Charges In Stafford Swatting Incidents

(Stafford)- A juvenile has pleaded guilty to conspiring to make terrorist threats in connection with “numerous” swatting incidents last year targeting Stafford County schools. Swatting is the act of making false calls to 911 to generate large law enforcement response.  Between May and September, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office responded to false reports of bombs and shootings at Stafford High School, Brooke Point High School, Dixon Smith Middle School and Drew Middle School. Each report led to large law enforcement responses, lockdowns and evacuations.
