(Arlington)- In December, visitors placed more than 260,000 wreaths at headstones and niches throughout Arlington National Cemetery. This Saturday the annual removal of wreaths, known as Wreaths Out begins at 8 a.m. All are welcome to attend. In anticipation of the cold temperatures, the cemetery is encouraging prospective attendees to dress warm. The Military Women’s Memorial will be handing out hot chocolate and hot cider to attendees. Attendees are being asked to only remove the Wreaths Across America veterans’ wreaths.
