(Fairfax)- Fairfax Police have charged a 14-year-old boy in connection with a Saturday shooting in the county that left a young man with a gunshot wound. Police say the 19-year-old victim was found suffering from gunshot wounds to the arm and lower body, Fairfax Police said in a press release that the victim was taken to the hospital with injuries considered not life-threatening. Preliminarily, detectives determined the victim was walking to a nearby apartment when he was approached by the 14-year-old suspect who displayed a firearm and shot the victim. The release said police do not believe this was a random act.
