Attorney General Miyares Joins Challenge To MLB’s Anti-Trust Exemption

(Richmond)-  Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares is showing his support to a group of minor league teams that want the U.S. Supreme Court to end Major League Baseball’s decades-long immunity to U.S. antitrust law. Miyares has joined a bipartisan coalition of 17 state attorneys general in an amicus brief urging the United States Supreme Court to hear a challenge to the Major League Baseball antitrust exemption, which officials say has unfairly impacted dozens of minor league teams nationwide.
