(Fauquier)- Fauquier High School’s Falcon Field will be renamed Kelican Field to honor the school’s late principal, Kraig Kelican, who passed away last month after a two-week battle with injuries he sustained in a car accident on I-66. In a unanimous decision, the Fauquier County School Board voted to rename the field to pay tribute to Kelican’s service and impact on the school community. The renaming ceremony is set to take place on Nov. 3.
