(NoVA)-The Potomac Yard Metro Station opened this morning. It moves customers on the Blue and Yellow lines between Braddock Road and Reagan National Airport. The Northern Virginia Transportation Authority says even though this station has no parking or a Kiss & Ride area, it is expected to significantly reduce the number of vehicles on route one. The station is expected to generate billions of dollars in new private-sector investment over the long term.
