Gov. Signs Bill To Fight Antisemitism In Virginia

(Richmond)- May is now Jewish American Heritage Month in Virginia. On Monday, Governor Youngkin officially presented the proclamation and signed a House bill which adopted the non-legally binding Working Definition of Antisemitism adopted by the Holocaust Remembrance Alliance. The legislation would act as a tool for “training, education, recognizing, and combating antisemitic hate crimes or discrimination and for tracking and reporting antisemitic incidents in the Commonwealth.”
