4pm Burn Law In Effect

(Richmond)- Virginia’s 4 p.m. Burning Law will go into effect today for the next two months. The law bans open-air burning between midnight-4 p.m. You can do a campfire, but you have to be there with it the whole time that it’s burning, and then when you go to leave, you have to make sure you extinguish it completely, According to the Virginia Department of Forestry, anyone who doesn’t obey the 4 p.m. Burning Law could face a $500 fine and a Class 3 misdemeanor.
