(Fredericksburg)- Fredericksburg Police say they’ve been seeing an increase in vehicle break-ins in the City of Fredericksburg. City Police say the suspects are targeting cars with purses and electronics in plain view and smashing windows to steal these valuable items.
Authorities say: Don’t leave valuables in your vehicle. If you can’t take these items with you, place them in the trunk or entirely out of view. Keep your vehicle locked at all times and the windows up, and file a police report. They say stolen items are often recovered.
