(DC)- 7th District Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger has been selected to serve on the U.S. House Intelligence Committee. She will be the first Virginian to serve on the committee since 2007. Spanberger has experience in central intelligence — formerly working as an undercover CIA case officer on counterterrorism and non-proliferation cases. In a statement, Spanberger said: I will be approaching this role with the deepest possible respect for the public servants who work tirelessly to defend our homeland — including the many who call Virginia home.
