(Richmond)-A bill introduced in the General Assembly would set minimum staffing requirements and consequences for certified nursing facilities that don’t comply. The bill introduced by Caroline Delegate Bobby Orrock sets nursing staff mandates for these facilities, and imposes administrative sanctions on those out of compliance. The bill has a delayed effective date of July 1, 2026.
