(Richmond)- Virginia Health will soon begin a project to create an environmental epidemiology program. It’s all thanks to a major grant from the CDC to create the Virginia Environmental Health Tracking Program. This will track air quality, birth defects, cancer, lead poisoning and much more. VDH will begin receiving the funds in August in the amount of 635-thousand-dollars for the next five-years.
