First Case Of Monkeypox Reported In Central Virginia

(Richmond)-   Central Virginia is seeing its first presumed case of monkeypox.  The Virginia Department of Health reports the patient is a man who recently traveled out of state and is currently self-isolating.  Officials would not specify exactly where he lives.  This brings the total number of monkeypox cases in the Commonwealth to 40.  Anyone who suspects they have the virus should isolate immediately and contact their doctor or the health department.
