(Richmond)- State officials have expanded the Virginia Spotted Lanternfly Quarantine zone. It was created in 2019 to help slow the spread of the ‘invasive insect pest.’ Businesses within the quarantine area must have a permit to move regulated articles out of the area. Multiple cities and counties are now part of the expansion which includes Manassas and Lynchburg.
