(DC)- After years of being empty, RFK Stadium will soon be a thing of the past. DC officials say plans are in place to get rid of the structure by the end of 2023. Officials noted that a demolition plan was in place before but the money was used during the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier this week, two small fires broke out in the basement of the stadium.
