(Richmond)- Virginians are expected to hit the road for the Fourth of July weekend despite soaring gas prices. According to Triple-A, about one-point-three million residents of the Commonwealth will drive at least 50-miles or more to celebrate Independence Day. While July Fourth falls on Monday, traffic is expected to be steady throughout the weekend, with tomorrow and Friday predicted to be peak travel days.
