(Chesterfield)- family is dealing with what police call a horrible tragedy in Chesterfield County. A child died yesterday after being left in a hot car for hours on Aldengate Road, and the father then died of an apparent suicide. Police believe the father left his 18-month-old in the back of his car for at least three hours while he was at work. He then apparently drove home, took the dead child inside, and went into the woods behind the house where he shot himself.
