(Richmond)- Temperatures are starting rise across the Commonwealth and so is the number of snake sightings. State officials are reminding everyone to seek medical attention immediately if they are bit by a snake. Copperheads and timber rattlers are poisonous and have been seen in Virginia. Your best bet is to keep your lawn mowed and consider using a snake repellent that’s both kid and pet friendly.
