(Richmond)- The state of Virginia plans to release another emergency round of SNAP benefits. The Department of Social Services says eligible households will receive the infusion of benefits to their cards on June 16th. The emergency funds are an extension of extra COVID shutdown benefits and are above and beyond the regular benefits those in the program already receive.
