(Richmond)- Governor Youngkin is calling for better protection for students. It comes following the deadly school shooting in Texas on Tuesday. The Governor wants the General Assembly to approve a budget that will provide 50-million-dollars exclusively for school resource officers. Members of the General Assembly are expected to meet again next week to discuss the budget.
