(Richmond)- Plans to reform the land the Richmond Coliseum sits on are moving forward. The city council voted last night to transfer ownership of the arena to the Economic Development Authority. The EDA will look for a developer to buy the seven-acre property, demolish the coliseum and replace it with a mixed-use project. The EDA has two years to find a buyer or else the property goes back to the city.
