(Madison)- New technology in Madison County is making it easier for medics to understand when someone is having a stroke. Officials say the ‘iTREAT’ program places a camera inside of an ambulance which allows UVA Health to interact with a patient on their way to the hospital. Drive times from certain parts of the county to the hospital can quite lengthy. Hopes are that the new program will help save more lives.
