(Richmond)- Virginia has closed the application period for its rent relief program. Virginians have been getting help to cover their rent since the start of the pandemic after the federal government gave the state a-billion-dollars for just that. Pressure is on many residents to find a way to pay their bills. The state stopped accepting applications on Sunday.
