(Jamestown)- Jamestown is considered to be an “endangered historic place.” The National Trust for Historic Preservation designated the original Jamestown settlement as one of America’s Eleven Most Endangered Historic Places for 2022. Jamestown Rediscovery Foundation’s Denise Kellogg says the tidal flooding area where the settlement is located will be underwater within the next 50 years.
