Youngkin Signs Virginia Literacy Act

(Richmond)- Governor Youngkin recently signed the Virginia Literacy Act into law.  It helps make sure that teachers are trained in the science of reading while also requiring all school systems to provide students with instruction, screening and monitoring of their progress in reading.  Governor Youngkin said it’s very important to make sure that all students have the tools they need to be successful in the classroom and in life.
