Virginia Senate Shoots Down Gas Tax Holiday Proposal

(Richmond)- The Virginia Senate voted against Governor Youngkin’s gas tax holiday proposal.  It came down to a 12-to-3 vote to block the bill by the Senate Finance Committee on Wednesday.  This would’ve cut fuel prices by about 26-cents per gallon for 90-days.  Youngkin said that he was disappointed by the decision.  Both sides could still work together to create another form of gas relief for Virginians.
