(Fairfax)- Virginia’s largest school district has a new superintendent. Fairfax County Public Schools selected Doctor Michelle Reid to take over for Doctor Scott Brabrand who plans to step down later this year. The school board made it official last night after a 9-to-3 vote. She will make the move from Bothell, Washington where she currently serves as superintendent of a much smaller district. Doctor Reid will begin her new role on July 1st.
