Knives In Schools In SoMD

(Waldorf)-  Sheriff’s deputies in Charles County are investigating two separate incidents where students brought weapons to school.  Authorities say a student at North Point High School has been charged with possession of a dangerous weapon on school property.  The youngster was caught with two-knives on school grounds Monday afternoon.  Meanwhile at Billingsley Elementary, a pair of students were supplied box cutters by another classmate.  This happened last week and administration has not commented on the punishment.  Parents are being asked to talk to their children about staying away from weapons and making positive choices.
