Governor Signs “Cocktails To Go” Bills

(Richmond)- Governor Youngkin signs a pair of bills to extend the Commonwealth’s “Cocktails to Go” policy.  It allows bars and restaurants to make alcoholic drinks available with takeout orders.  It was first implemented as a temporary measure to help businesses struggling with COVID-19 measures, and was supposed to expire in July.  House Bill 426 and Senate Bill 254 extend the policy until 2024.
