(Richmond)- A fallen police officer is being remembered as a man who died in pursuit of his life’s calling. A prayer vigil was held yesterday at the Henrico Police Memorial for Henrico County Police Officer Trey Sutton. The 24-year-old died in an on-duty crash last week at Wilkinson Road and Chamberlayne Road. He graduated from the police academy just weeks earlier, but despite his brief time on the force, Police Chief Eric English says Sutton was family. A public viewing is set for today from 5:00 to 8:00 in Midlothian at the Victory Tabernacle Church on Genito Road, and his funeral is set for tomorrow morning at the church.
