(DC)-Longtime DC new anchor Bruce Johnson has died. Bruce Johnson passed away at a Delaware hospital over the weekend of heart failure according to WUSA-9. Johnson spent 44-years delivering the news to the D.C. region while working for Channel-9 before retiring in 2020. He recently became part of a mural at the iconic Ben’s Chili Bowl. Johnson was 71.
