(Richmond)- Don’t mess with the bears! That’s the message from the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources as black bears are enjoying the outdoors. Officials say that bears like to den in ground nests, brush piles and even under porches. People are encouraged to contact the Wildlife Helpline at 1-855-571-9003 if they discover a den on their property.
