(DC)- Smithsonian will make some major shifts to their operations this week. Starting today, several museums and the National Zoo are following a new schedule. It includes the National Museum of African American History and the National Museum of American History that are opening only five-days a week. Some museums will remain open everyday while others, including the Zoo will be open from Thursday through Sunday. Visitors might also notice some exhibition spaces closed and limited entrances.
