Law Enforcement Partner to Reduce Impaired Driving

(Richmond)- More than a-hundred law enforcement agencies are joining forces to keep impaired drivers off the roads in Virginia. It’s all part of the Checkpoint Strikeforce campaign in which authorities use messaging to remind drivers of the dangers of drinking and driving. The Checkpoint Strikeforce campaign will continue through New Year’s Day with 116 law enforcement agencies statewide. Nearly 300-lives were lost to alcohol-related crashes in all of 2020.
