(DC)- Metrorail riders can expect longer wait times for the rest of 2021. That was the message from Metro’s general manager as he said that reduced services will continue across the board. Metro says they’re continuing the work to return the 7000-series railcars to the fleet after removing all of them following the October Blue Line derailment. Hopes are that things will get back to normal by the start of the new year.
