VDH Preparing for Vaccine Rollout for Youngsters

(Richmond)- Even more young people could soon be lining up to get their COVID-19 shot. Virginia health officials have been given the green light to begin preparations to provide the vaccine to children between the ages of five-and-eleven. According to the Virginia Department of Health, pharmacies will get around 125-thousand doses while pediatricians are set to receive about 250-thousand doses. Some school districts even have plans to administer the vaccines after hours or on the weekend once the final approval comes from the F-D-A.
