(Richmond)- Virginians are being asked to think before burning leaves and brush this fall. The Virginia Department of Forestry says you should know local regulations before starting any fire to get rid of outside materials. Also, don’t burn on windy or dry days. Anytime you decide to burn you should have the water hose close by.
